Adult Vocational Services

The Adult Vocational Services program of Aspire supports adults with disabilities to develop their careers and be productive members of the workforce. Our program is funded by the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC), for adults who have challenges with obtaining employment due to their disabilities.  Our program has proven to be both effective and efficient for placing individuals in jobs of their choice. Each year we demonstrate a high success rate of individuals from our program being employed in the community.

Our program services include:

  • Assisting people with the job search

  • Resume writing and completing job applications

  • Building interviewing skills including practicing to interview

  • Facilitate the first time contact with employers for individuals

  • Assist the individual and employer with the new hire and onboarding process

  • Provide training on the job to help supplement the employer training program

  • Follow along supports for individuals for the long-term as needed

  • Assistance for individuals, and their families to access appropriate information regarding Social Security and other public benefits
