We are excited to offer the  Parents as Teachers program to families in Lynn! 

What is Parents as Teachers? 

Parents as Teachers is an evidence-based early childhood program that partners with families during the important years of pregnancy through age 5. Our trained parent educators meet families where they are, offering practical support, information, and encouragement tailored to each family’s needs.

Nurture: Build a strong, nurturing relationship with your child through play, conversation, reading, and everyday moments together.

Grow: Gain confidence in your parenting journey while exploring your child’s interests, strengths, milestones, and unique personality.

Build Connections: Connect with other parents and caregivers through group activities and gatherings, creating opportunities to share experiences, build friendships, learn together, and develop a supportive community.

Connect to Community: Get connected to local resources, programs, and services that can support your family’s goals and well-being. 

What Families Can Expect

Through Parents as Teachers, families receive personalized support designed around their unique needs, strengths, and goals. Our team works alongside parents and caregivers to: 

  • Support healthy child development from pregnancy through age 5 
  • Help parents understand and respond to their child’s developmental needs 
  • Build confidence in parenting and caregiving 
  • Provide ideas and activities that encourage learning through everyday interactions 
  • Connect families with helpful community resources and services 
  • Celebrate children’s strengths, growth, and milestones 
  • Support families as they prepare their children for success in school and beyond

Referrals are open to anyone in Lynn who is pregnant or has a child under the age of 5.
